Guinness Nigeria Plc has introduced its newest brand, Guinness Smooth stout into the market.

According to the company, Guinness Smooth is a new expression of Guinness developed by Guinness master brewers, local and international, to deliver an exciting and stand out beer that is perfect for casual social occasions.

Commenting on the new brew, Adesina Adewole, Guinness Nigeria master brewer adds: “Guinness Smooth is a perfect partner for spicy foods and BBQ. The smooth refreshing taste balances the spicy heat, while the distinctive characterful flavour ensures Guinness Smooth is a beer that doesn’t get overshadowed by the food.”

Also speaking on the new addition to Guinness Nigeria’s portfolio, Adenike Adebola, Marketing Director, Guinness Nigeria said: “Guinness has a long tradition of brewing extraordinary beers.

Dublin based brewer, Peter Simpson, who has worked with the local team said: “I love creating distinguished and exquisite beers. The new drink is said to be brewed with a perfect blend of bitter and sweet flavour of hops and roasted barley.

According to the brand handlers, Guinness Smooth has 5% ABV and is best served fresh from the fridge at between 3°C and 7°C, and will be available from September 13, 2019 at your favourite neighbourhood bar.
