Nigerian Breweries Plc has announced the resignation of Mr Atedo Peterside from its Board of Directors.

In a statement, the brewing company said that Mr Peterside tendered his resignation to focus on the Anap foundation Covid-19, a Think Tank he formed following the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic in Nigeria.

His resignation takes effect on the 1st of April, 2020.

According to the company, Mr Peterside joined the Board on the 21st of August, 2008 and served as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and subsequently the Governance Committee during his time on the Board.

Mr Peterside sits on the board of several other Nigerian companies including Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Flour Mills of Nigeria and Unilever Nigeria Plc.
