Guinness Nigeria takes Smirnoff X1 on road tour to boost sales

Guinness Nigeria Plc, said it is resolved to boosting sales of its Smirnoff X1 brand by taking it on a nationwide road tour.

The company said that it has expanded its offerings by going into the local manufacture of spirits, adding that it recently launched additional brands such as Smirnoff X1 Intense Chocolate Vodka, and Gordon’s Dry Gin with Moringa Citrus Blend, while it has also started producing brands like McDowell’s, after obtaining distribution rights from Diageo’s United Spirits Limited.

Interbrand’s Top global beverage brands for 2016

Interbrand, the world’s biggest and most influential brand consultancy has released its 2016 Top Best 100 brands report. The list is a mixed bag of brands from a diverse set of industries with Apple and Google topping the list.

There were 11 global beverage brands in the top 100, starting with Coca-Cola, 3; Pepsi Cola, 23; Budweiser, 30; Nescafe, 36; Jack Daniel’s, 85; Sprite, 86; Heineken, 87; Corona Extra, 93; Johnnie Walker, 95; Smirnoff, 96; Moet & Chandon Champagne, 97.

Diageo unveils Smirnoff Ice Double Black with Guarana

Smirnoff, a name synonymous with the best in vodka, from the stables of Diageo brands Nigeria, has unveiled a new variant called Smirnoff Ice Double Black with Guarana amid fanfare.

The Double side party was held at the most unconventional of places, a thriving auto workshop turned into a party venue.

Arriving at the party located in Lagos, guests were eager to experience a different type of fun holding a party at the most unusual of places, an auto workshop.
