Hollandia Evaporated Milk leads Peak in new Retail Audit Report

A new Retail Audit report released by AC Nielsen Retail Audit Data for Q1 2016 shows Hollandia Evaporated Milk, a product made by Chi Limited, take the lead ahead of Peak Milk Regular in the evaporated milk segment in the Southwest and Lagos markets, customarily considered the largest dairy markets in Nigeria.

Dairy giants battle each other over ad campaign

Two of Nigeria’s biggest dairy firms, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, makers of Peak Milk, Three Crowns Milk, among others and Chi Limited, producers of Hollandia Evaporated Milk are in the midst of a heated marketing war over who originated a particular ad first.

FrieslandCampina celebrates 60 years of Peak in Nigeria

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, makers of Peak Milk and other brands marked the 60th Anniversary of Peak Milk at an event at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday, 23rd of May, 2015.

Many people graced the occasion, including consumers from various works of life, media personalities, children and notables celebrities like former Nigerian International and Olympic Gold Medalist, Kanu Nwankwo and singer, Yemi Alade, among others.

The Managing Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Rahul Colaco said “Over the last 60 years, Peak has continued to be strong throughout the several changes in the market.”

FrieslandCampina WAMCO to invest N4 bn in Nigeria Annually

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, a leading company in the dairy sector and makers of such products as Peak milk, Three Crown, Friso, among others is poised to inject at least N4bn (€20 million) into their operation in the country to maintain their lead position in the dairy market.

The company, which is investing the money to upgrade their facilities to international standards and help to achieve minimum national adequate consumption of milk products, is also set to unveil a new campaign in Lagos on Saturday May 23rd to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Peak milk.
