Peak Milk marks World Milk Day with Unveiling of Nigeria’s Largest Chocolate Cup

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, makers of Peak Chocolate Full Cream Milk Powder and Peak 456 Growing Up Milk unveiled a 10-foot high chocolate cup, Nigeria’s largest, in celebration of Children’s Day and ahead of the World Milk Day on June 1.

The unveiling which took place at JJT Park in Lagos in partnership with the Nutrition Society of Nigeria was attended by more than 2,000 children, parents and guardians.

New survey ranks Peak Milk best in quality rating

A new survey (QUDAL-QUALITY MEDAL SURVEY), conducted in Nigeria by Swiss-based ICERTIAS, a market research company, ranked Peak milk, a premium milk brand from FrieslandCampina WAMCO as the best milk in Nigeria in quality rating.

A statement by the Senior Certification Executive of ICERTIAS, Mihaela Siamar, stated “the first ICERTIAS QUDAL-Quality Medal survey in Nigeria shows that most Nigerian consumers consider Peak as a premium milk brand that offers them the highest level of quality”.

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, makers of Peak Milk and other brands marked the 60th Anniversary of Peak Milk at an event at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday, 23rd of May, 2015.

Many people graced the occasion, including consumers from various works of life, media personalities, children and notables celebrities like former Nigerian International and Olympic Gold Medalist, Kanu Nwankwo and singer, Yemi Alade, among others.
