Nigeria’s leading malt drink, Maltina has released 1,000 smiles captured during its tour across the country with the Maltina ‘1000 Smiles’ campaign.

Launched in partnership with media entrepreneur and blogger, Noble Igwe, the campaign was relaunched in August 2019 with the ‘Happiness Team’ – which includes the Maltina brand team and celebrity blogger; Nobe Igwe – visiting several Nigerian cities including Wadata, Nnewi, Keffi, Abuja, and others to share happiness with consumers.

Star Lager, the flagship beer brand of Nigerian Breweries Plc has launched an all-new label and great taste.

The new Star lager was unveiled at the first “Access the Stars” concert which first took place in Abeokuta and at a second concert in Lagos.

According to the brand handlers, this change in label further cements Star Lager Beer as a market leader in the beer industry and adds to the long list of achievements to be celebrated as the beer brand turns 70.

Nigerian Breweries’ profit decline seven consecutive quarters as excise tax increase bites

Nigerian Breweries Plc has reported a further decline in earnings for the first nine months of its financial year. Profits fell by 17% to N12.3bn from N14.8bn in the previous year. It would be the seventh consecutive quarter that the company’s profit has declined.

Nigerian Breweries to expand capacity at Enugu Brewery

Nigerian Breweries Plc announced on Thursday it was putting finishing plans to expand its operational capacity at its Ama brewery in Enugu State.

The company’s Managing Director, Jordi Borrut Bel disclosed this when he led a delegation that paid a courtesy visit to the Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Nigerian Breweries Plc and Access Bank Plc have partnered to launch a new music talent contest called ‘Access the Stars’ across the country.

According to the organisers, the initiative is aimed at promoting and supporting music talent across Nigeria, through a music talent hunt with a grand prize of N150 million.

Nigerian Breweries launches new empowerment scheme for youths in host communities

Leading brewer, Nigerian Breweries Plc has unveiled a new empowerment scheme called “Partnership for Growth”. According to the company, the new programme, which is part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) is aimed at equipping Nigerian youths, especially those in its host communities with vocational and life skills that create wealth and support livelihood.

The programme kick-off in August had 100 youths, 50 males and 50 females selected from Awo-Omamma Community, in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State.
