NBC names Matthieu Seguin as Managing Director

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) has announced the appointment of Matthieu Seguin as its new Managing Director.

Seguin succeeds Georgios Polymenakos who was appointed in August 2016 through October 2019.

According to a statement signed by the Public Affairs and Communications Director for NBC, Mr Ekuma Eze, Seguin was until his recent appointment the General Manager for Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland for almost four years.

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), the sole bottler of Coca-Cola products in Nigeria recently held a series of giveaways and incentives for its trade partners.

Speaking on the campaign, the company’s Public Affairs and Communication Director, Mr. Ekuma Eze, said that as the year draws to an end, the campaign offers NBC the opportunity to express appreciation to its trade partners, by rewarding them for their efforts and commitment to working with the company to accelerate sales volume growth.

NBC delivers multi-million euros education and water projects to Kano State as part of CSR initiative

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), the sole bottler of Coca-Cola products in Nigeria and a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Limited (CCHBC) has inaugurated several education and water projects in Kano State.

According to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the firm signed with the state, the completed projects will benefit over one million people living around the area where the company has its operations.

NBC gets global Water Stewardship recognition

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Ikeja plant has received the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Gold Certification Award.

The company received the award in recognition of its responsible use of freshwater in a socially, economically and environmentally beneficial way.

NBC, Enyo partner to provide Coca-Cola products to consumers

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), bottlers of Coca-Cola products said it has partnered with Enyo Retail & Supply Limited, a downstream oil and gas firm to boost customer experience through the provision of the NBC chillers at selected Enyo service stations nationwide.

According to the NBC, the collaboration aligns with Enyo’s vision of making its retail outlets one-stop centres where customers can do more than fuelling their cars.

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC), the bottlers of Coca-Cola soft drinks in the country has said that its Youth Empowered programme has trained 16,000 entrepreneurs.

The company’s Public Affairs and Communications Director, Ekuma Eze, made this known while speaking at a three-day training workshop in Calabar. He said that the soft drinks giant is involved in the initiative because the government alone cannot solve the problem of unemployment.

NBC withdraws two batches of 75cl Eva bottled water following recall alert issued by NAFDAC

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) said it has withdrawn two batches of 75cl Eva Table Water produced between May 22 and 23 at its Asejire Plant in Ibadan, Oyo State due to public complaints of impurity in the water.

According to NBC, it reported a change in colour of the product from colourless to light green in the batch and presence of particles to NAFDAC on June 20, 2019.
