LVMH Moet Hennessy wines and spirits group reports 5% revenue growth in the first nine months of 2016

LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the French luxury goods maker, on Monday reported  a revenue growth of 4% in the first nine months of 2016 to €26.3bn, up from €25.3bn in 2015, with Moet Hennessy, the Wines and Spirits group posting a 5% rise in sales to €3.3bn, from €3.1bn in 2015.

LVMH Wine & Spirits group records 7% revenue growth

French luxury goods maker, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton said its revenue in the first-half of the year grew 3% from last year to €17.2bn, while the group’s net profits totaled €1.7bn, an increase of 8% on the previous year.

The company which makes high-end perfumes, cosmetics, fashion and jewellery, among others said that its wine and spirits brands had an “excellent performance” with Hennessy Cognac recording double digit growth. The brand saw a 13% volume increase in the first-half, helped by “substantial momentum” in the US, the Caribbean, Africa and Travel Retail channels.

Is this your first visit to Nigeria?

Yes it is. But I have been to South Africa. My parents used to live in Northern Africa, in Morocco and actually my brother was born there. I have been to a few other countries, but I’m still in the learning stage.
