Champion Breweries Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Georgios I. Polymenakos as its new Managing Director.
The appointment follows the resignation of Mr Patrick Ejidoh as Managing Director, who reached retirement age after 32 years of an illustrious career with Nigerian Breweries Plc.
Mr Ejidoh is credited with ushering the company into the path of growth and profitability.
The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), the sole bottler of Coca-Cola products in Nigeria and a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Limited (CCHBC) has inaugurated several education and water projects in Kano State.

Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), bottlers of the famed Coca-Cola brand in Nigeria has announced the appointment of George Polymenakos as its new Managing Director, with effect from July 2016. Mr. Polymenkos takes over from Ben Langat, who joined NBC as Chief Finance Officer in 2009, and later to be appointed as Managing Director in 2012. Until recently, George Polymenakos was Regional General Manager for Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC) for Moscow, Russia.
