NAFDAC clears Eva bottled water safe for drinking

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has given the all-clear on its investigation of Eva bottled water. The regulatory agency said that following its default in two batches of Eva bottled water produced and bottled by the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), it has determined that Eva bottled Water is safe for consumption.

NBC withdraws two batches of 75cl Eva bottled water following recall alert issued by NAFDAC

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) said it has withdrawn two batches of 75cl Eva Table Water produced between May 22 and 23 at its Asejire Plant in Ibadan, Oyo State due to public complaints of impurity in the water.

According to NBC, it reported a change in colour of the product from colourless to light green in the batch and presence of particles to NAFDAC on June 20, 2019.

Coca-Cola Nigeria unveils 50cl Eva Twist Bottle

Coca-Cola Nigeria has announced the launch of a 50cl Eva Twist Bottled Water as it seeks to bolster its presence in the market.

The soft drinks maker noted that the new bottle uses 18% less plastic which is in furtherance of its commitment to secure a friendly environment as well as serving consumers better. All up till now, Coca-Cola Eva bottled water only came in 75cl plastic bottles.
