Enugu State Government lauds NBC on Youth Empowerment Scheme

The Enugu State Government has commended the management of the Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) for its commitment to social-economic well-being of the nation, especially where it relates to the area of youth empowerment aimed at reducing high unemployment rate in the country.

Nestlé Nigeria partners ITC to boost youth entrepreneurship

With the high rate of unemployment in the country and need to engage the youth meaningfully, Nestlé Nigeria has partnered with Imperial Integrated Consulting in their annual capacity building programme called the National Career Fair.

The fair slated to hold in several states across the country started on December 7 at the University of Lagos. Other States include Oyo, Akwa-Ibom, Kaduna and the Federal Capital Territory.

Coca-Cola Nigeria to empower 15,000 youths in 2018

Coca-Cola Nigeria has said it will empower 15,000 youths in 2018 through its youth empowerment and personal development initiatives.

The Director, Legal, Public Affairs and Communications, Nigerian Bottling Company, Sade Morgan, made this known while speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Monday.

She said the vision of Coca-Cola was to impart over 100,000 youths with entrepreneurship and employability skills.

Anheuser-Busch pledges to create 10,000 jobs in South Africa by 2021

South African Breweries (SAB), a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev in South Africa, on Monday unveiled an ambitious programme to create 10,000 jobs in South Africa by 2021.

AB InBev which last year acquired SABMiller, a brewer with deep roots in South Africa said the jobs to be created would come from the company’s various entrepreneurship schemes such as SAB Kickstart, SAB Foundation, SAB Thrive and SAB Accelerator, as well as its agriculture programmes to grow emerging farmers.

Goldberg unveils Isedowo empowerment scheme in Ile Ife

Goldberg Lager beer, a brand of Nigerian Breweries Plc, on Thursday launched the much anticipated Isedowo Youth Empowerment Scheme at the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II amid fanfare.

The event brought together other prominent Obas and chiefs from the Southwest as his Majesty Oba Ogunwusi commended Nigerian Breweries for the initiative which he said is a bold step at improving the lot of small scale entrepreneurs in the South West region.

Goldberg Lager to launch youth empowerment scheme for budding entrepreneurs in the Southwest

Goldberg Lager beer, a brand of Nigerian Breweries Plc, is set to unveil an empowerment scheme tagged Isedowo in Southwestern states on Thursday, 31 August 2017.

The scheme, which is designed to equip young Yoruba men and women with the support to grow their businesses, will be launched at the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.

Emmanuel Agu, Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout Brands, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said that, in addition to the brand’s commitment to support the culture and tradition of the Yoruba people, it would use Isedowo to inspire entrepreneurship in the region, thus impacting employment and income generation.

Life Continental Beer rewards 30 winners of Progress Booster show with N7.5m

Life Continental Lager Beer, a product from the stables of Nigerian Breweries Plc has kicked-off the 2nd edition of its Progress Booster Show, where it rewards entrepreneurs who have compelling business ideas with funds to start or grow their businesses. The beer brand handed out N7.5m to 30 winners recently.

The Progress Booster Show is an entrepreneurial talent hunt and mentoring radio programme targeted at innovative businessmen and women in the South Eastern states.

NB to empower budding entrepreneurs

Nigerian Breweries (NB) brand, Life Continental Lager Beer, has initiated an entrepreneur empowerment scheme valued at N12.5 million and called Progress Booster. The aim is to assist budding entrepreneurs in the South Eastern States.

The Marketing Manager, Lager and Stout, Mr. Emma Agu, while speaking with stakeholders (distributors, retailers and others) at the launch of the project in Onitsha recently, stated that Progress Booster was a radio inspired reality project meant to re-launch and reinvigorate the Life Continental brand in the greater South East market.
