Nigerian Breweries, FRSC kick-off Annual Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign at Lagos Motor Park

Nigerian Breweries Plc said it will continue to support the annual ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’ campaign as part of its contribution to ensuring safe driving on the nation’s roads and keeping road users alive to contribute to the development of the country.

The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Johan Doyer, who was represented by the firm’s Corporate Affairs Adviser, Mr. Kufre Ekanem, made this known in Lagos on Wednesday at a mega rally organized by the company for the DDD campaign at the Ojota New Garage.

Nigerian Breweries, FRSC partner on safety campaign during ember months

Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc says it has entered into a partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to ensure safety on the highways by discouraging habit of drinking while driving.

Mr Kufre Ekanem, the Corporate Affairs Adviser, NB Plc, made this known at a news conference on the campaign tagged: “Don’t Drink and Drive” in Lagos on Thursday.

Ekanem said that the partnership was part of the company’s long-term agenda on responsible consumption campaigns.

Nigerian Breweries Plc, said it has begun the ninth edition of the ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’ campaign in some parts of the country, in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

In a statement released by the company, it said the programme, which began in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja was part of its efforts to promote responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages among road users, particularly commercial drivers and riders.

As the festive period draws nearer, Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc on Thursday flagged off its annual Don’t Drink and Drive (DDD) campaign in collaboration with Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other agencies.

NB’s Managing Director Mr. Nicolaas Vervelde on Thursday at a press conference held at the company’s Iganmu Headquarters to herald activities mapped out for the campaign appealed to motorists to stay alive during the coming “Ember months” by adhering strictly to the “responsible consumption” messages of the company.
