Delta State Teacher wins 2017 Edition of Maltina Teacher of the Year Awards

A teacher with Mastercare International School Asaba, Delta State, Mr. Felix Udochukwu Ariguzo, has emerged the 2017 winner of Maltina Teacher of the Year Award held in Lagos on Thursday.

For beating out other contestants, Ariguzo was awarded ₦1 Million as well as ₦500,000 he received as Delta State Champion. In addition, he will receive ₦1 million every year for five years, a training programme abroad and a block of six classrooms built in his school.

€6 Million soft drink factory opens in Warri

A soft drink factory with an estimated cost of €6 million was commissioned in Warri, Delta State by the Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa on July 9th, 2015.

The factory with the trade name “Trebet A1” is owned by an Edo State born investor, Leemon Ikpea of Leemon Group of Companies. Also commissioned by the Governor was Oasis International Supermarket and Stores limited.

Speaking at the unveiling of the businesses, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Leemon Group, Leemon Ikpea said the soft drinks factory will be involved in the production of various premium juices, carbonated drinks and bottled water.
