Energy drinks maker Monster Beverage Corp is considering expanding its business line beyond energy drink.
The US-based company said at a shareholder’s meeting on Thursday that it was looking to grow its portfolio into different categories beyond energy drinks.
Nigerian alcohol spirits brands have made the list of the world’s Top 100 fastest growing spirits brands, according to International Wines and Spirits Record (IWSR). The 100 brands come from across the major spirits categories, including whiskey, gin and vodka among others.
Three brands from the stable of Nigerian Breweries Plc were awarded Gold prizes recently by the prestigious Monde Selection Awards.
The 58th edition of the award ceremony which took place on June 3rd in Rome, Italy were conferred on Gulder, Goldberg and Star Lager respectively. This year, more than 1,000 companies from 90 countries presented no less than 3,000 products to Monde Selection juries. Each product was evaluated individually to establish its global quality profile and grant the product the quality award it deserves.
