CCBA acquires Zambian producer of fermented maize beverage, the latest in its consolidation journey

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), South Africa-based Coke bottler said it has obtained the necessary regulatory approval to acquire the assets of Fairy Bottling Zambia Limited, a maker of Super Maheu (fermented maize beverage), Aqua Savana and other soft drinks trademarks.

Cadbury collaborates with UNHC, donates Bournvita to IDP camps

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has announced the donation of Bournvita products, its flagship brand to some Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Nigeria, working in collaboration with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.

In a statement, the company’s Corporate and Government Affairs Director for West Africa, Mr Bala Yesufu, said Cadbury was moved to make the donation by the plight of IDPs living in various camps in the country.
