Coca-Cola Chairman Muhtah Kent to step down in April 2019

Muhtar Kent, the long-serving former CEO and current Chairman of the Coca-Cola Company will step down from his role in April 2019 after 41 years of illustrious service to the company.

James Quincey, the current president & CEO will add chairman to his job title while giving up the title of president following the company’s annual meeting in April 2019. Brian Smith, who was previously announced, will become the President & Chief Operating Officer of the company on 1st January 2019.

Nigerian Breweries announces one resignation, two new Non-Executive Director appointments

Nigerian Breweries Plc on Thursday announced two new Non-Executive directors to its Board of Directors.

The brewing company notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) of the change to the composition of its Board with the appointment of Mr Oluseyi Bickersteth and Mrs Adeyinka O. Aroyewun as Non-Executive Directors.

Star Lager to host 2018 ‘One Lagos Fiesta’

Star Lager beer, the flagship beer brand of Nigerian Breweries Plc, has revealed plans to round up the year in conjunction with the Lagos State Government at its Yuletide revue, One Lagos Fiesta, which is set to hold from 24th December to the early hours of 1st January, 2019.

The event which is billed to attract top Nigerian artists cutting across all genres, including Olamide, Teni, Real, Humblesmith, Ayuba, Osupa among others and over two million direct participants are expected to take part in this year’s event.

The event attracted fitness pundits and fans from different parts of the world as well as local fitness celebrities, who shared their experiences and weath of knowledge regarding the ever-growing fitness industry.
