Nigerian Breweries unveils Ace Desire RTD

Nigerian Breweries Plc, on Thursday unveiled its newest creation – Ace Desire, a Zobo-flavoured alcoholic ready-to-drink (RTD) to the Nigerian market.

The company’s Marketing Director, Franco Maria Maggi, said that “Ace Desire” is a sophisticated blend of spirit, natural Hibiscus or Zobo extract, being the traditional beverage produced from hibiscus leaves.

“This rich combination of balanced mix of spirit and Hibiscus extracts contains 5.5% alcohol, and offers a tingling sensation and rich aroma,” he said.

He added that the new drink comes in 33cl glass-bottle packaging and stands out amongst products in the RTD category.

“The brand’s ambition is to lead in the Nigerian RTD category by establishing itself as the relentless pioneer of innovation,” Maggi said.

He promised that the product will be available in outlets across the country in the coming weeks.

Maggi noted that the extension of the Ace brand have always been about a need to satisfy different consumer taste that evolve over time.

Nigerian Breweries has an extensive portfolio of RTD drinks under the Ace brand. Ace Passion, an apple-flavoured alcoholic RTD was the first to be launched by the brewer in December 2014. That was soon followed by Ace Roots, a spirit-mixed blend made from African herbs and fruits in 2015. Ace Rhythm, a mixed spirit drink of vodka and citrus soon followed in November 2015.
