East African Breweries Limited (EABL), Kenya’s largest brewer and a subsidiary of Diageo Plc, announced on June 28, 2017 an ambitious plan to build a new state-of-the-art brewery in Kenya.

The plan which was announced by Kenyan’s President, Uhuru Kenyatta at a State House function was joined by Diageo’s chief executive officer, Ivan Menezes and Diageo’s Africa President, John O’Keeffe, among other government dignitaries.
