Peak launches N40 sachet milk

Leading dairy brand, Peak, a product of FrieslandCampina WAMCO has launched a new Peak milk sachet into the market at N40, a way to cushion the effects of the current recession and reach a broader market segment.

The new price scheme would also create a more heightened competitive environment in the Nigerian powdered milk market.

In a released statement to the media, the dairy giant noted that its customers deserve premium regardless of what the economy says.

Euro Global nears completion of N3bn ethanol plant

Euro Global Foods & Distilleries Limited, said on Monday that it was nearing the completion of a N3bn ethanol plant, with 90% of the work already done.

The firm which is a unit of Sona Group of Companies said that the plant would enable it boost production once complete.

AB InBev announces Completion of sale of SABMiller’s Central and Eastern European businesses

Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) on Friday announced it had completed the sale of businesses and brands formerly owned by SABMiller in Central and Eastern Europe to Asahi Group Holdings of Japan.

The divestitures which were part of the brewer’s acquisition of SABMiller were done in accordance with agreements reached with European anti-trust regulators on 18 May 2016.
