PepsiCo’s CEO and Chairman Indra Nooyi is said to be joining U.S. Presedent-elect Donald Trump’s new Economic Advisory Team, less than a month after Trump supporters began threatening to boycott the soda giant’s drinks following some comments she allegedly made at a conference after the U.S. election.

Trump’s transition team announced on Wednesday that Nooyi will be part of the incoming U.S. President’s Strategic and Policy Forum.

In a Dealbook conference held just after the U.S. elections, Nooyi was said to have commented:

“First of all, I want to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump, because the election is over,” she said.

“I think we should mourn, for those of us who supported the other side, but we have to come together and life has to go on,” she added.

Nooyi was said to have supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, though she did not donate to her campaign.

The comments was said to have led to calls by Trump supporters to boycott PepsiCo products.

Since Nooyi took over as PepsiCo’s CEO, the company’s shares have gained 69% as she cut costs and repositioned the soft drinks giant toward healthier drinks and snacks.
