Guinness Nigeria To Increase Local Content Usage By 75%

Guinness Nigeria Plc has said that by 2018, three-quarters of materials and products would be developed from Nigerian sources.

This plan is coming as the Nigerian subsidiary of Diageo Plc moves to deepen its Nigerian root and drive growths with Nigeria-based innovations and resources.

Nigerian Breweries, UNIDO partner to protect resources

The Nigeria Breweries Plc, in partnership with United Nation Industrial Development Organisation ( UNIDO) has organised a 3-day Stakeholder Workshop on water stewardship in Nigeria.

The workshop which is designed to engage with relevant stakeholders on issues of protecting water resources as well as developing ways to achieve water balance in Nigeria.

Diageo sells French wine company, Bouvet Ladubay in a bid to exit wine market

Diageo, the world’s largest spirit maker has sold its French sparkling wine company, Bouvet Ladubay, a company it inherited when it acquired India’s United Spirits, a unit of UB Group in 2012.

The new buyer is the Monmousseau family, the original owners, through three private-equity firms . The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
