Undergraduate Wins Car in Gulder Ultimate Chase, Ibadan after two unsuccessful near-wins

After two unsuccessful, yet near-win attempts at winning a brand new Hyundai Elantra car in Gulder’s ongoing National Consumer Promotion, 21-year old Charles Ozoalor eventually won the grand prize at the Ibadan leg, held recently.

The brand new car eluded Ozoalor, a final year undergraduate twice – when he participated in the Enugu leg of the Gulder Ultimate Chase held on September 26 and at the Port Harcourt edition held on October 3.

Cadbury inaugurates new N10bn factory

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, makers of Bournvita among other beverage products, on Friday, 16 October 2015, commissioned a new manufacturing plant at its Agidingbi, Ikeja site in Lagos.

The new ultra-modern production plant was commissioned by the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The new factory would enable the company raise its capacity by nearly 37 percent to meet rising demand for its food-drink and Bournvita.

Kenya’s Java House plans expansion in Africa

Kenya’s Java House, which has 36 coffee houses and restaurants in-and-around Nairobi plans to open more outlets across Africa in the next five years, to ride on the momentum of rising consumer spending in Africa, its Chief Executive Officer said.

Kevin Ashley, who founded Java House in 1999, said the company has plans to open outlets in Kigali, Dar es Salaam, Lagos, Accra and Lusaka. For now, the company’s only outlet outside of Kenya is in Kampala, Uganda.
