‘Top More Ginger Ale’ health drink enters the Nigerian market

EECON Global services Ltd, a marketer and distributor of global beverages such as ‘Lion Club Energy drink’ has just introduced ‘Top More Ginger Ale’ drink into the Nigerian market.

According to the company, ‘Top More Ginger Ale’ is made from natural herbal supplements such as Ginseng and Ginger extracts. Herbal extracts are said to assist in the overall stimulation and anti-inflammatory effects of human body functions.

NB to empower budding entrepreneurs

Nigerian Breweries (NB) brand, Life Continental Lager Beer, has initiated an entrepreneur empowerment scheme valued at N12.5 million and called Progress Booster. The aim is to assist budding entrepreneurs in the South Eastern States.

The Marketing Manager, Lager and Stout, Mr. Emma Agu, while speaking with stakeholders (distributors, retailers and others) at the launch of the project in Onitsha recently, stated that Progress Booster was a radio inspired reality project meant to re-launch and reinvigorate the Life Continental brand in the greater South East market.

Guinness Nigeria gets a new Managing Director

There is a new Managing Director at Guinness Nigeria Plc, a subsidiary of Diageo Plc. His name is Mr. Peter Ndegwa and he succeeds Mr. John Okeeffe, who has been promoted to President, Diageo Africa, effective, 1st July 2015.

Mr. Ndegwa comes from Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, where he was the Managing Director since 2011, overseeing end to end (supply and demand) accountability for the profit and loss and commercial priorities of the business.
