Coca-Cola “Score a Trip to Russia” Promo produces winners

Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC), bottlers of Coca-Cola products and Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited have presented World Cup tickets to two lucky winners in the ongoing “Score a Trip to Russia” Promo.

The winners who received their tickets earlier in the week at NBC head office, Iddo, Lagos were Fashola Moruf Adeyinka and Benjamin Muo.

Coca-Cola has unveiled a ‘Drink a Coke and Score a Trip to Russia’ Promo. The soft drinks giant said it will be taking 22 individuals from Nigeria to go watch the games at the FIFA World Cup Tournament in Russia later this year in the Coca-Cola “Win a Trip to Russia” Promo that is currently going on.

FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour wraps-up in Lagos amidst excitement and festivities

Lagosians came out in droves of excitement on Saturday to celebrate the arrival of the FIFA World Cup Trophy in the city and get a view of the coveted World Cup.

The Trophy which arrived Nigeria on Wednesday, courtesy of Coca-Cola, and was received by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, after which it continued on the second leg of its two-city tour of Nigeria, landing in Lagos on Friday.

Nigeria Welcomes FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour

The much anticipated FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday, with a first stop in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital and was received by the President, Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa. Also present at the welcoming ceremony were other stakeholders such as the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, officials of the Coca-Cola Company including the Managing Director of Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Bhupendra Suri and his counterpart and Managing Director at the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), Georgios Polymenakos.

Coca-Cola to become Official Sponsor of Nigerian Football Federation

Coca-Cola Nigeria and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday announced a partnership which will see the soft drinks giant become an official sponsor of all the country’s national teams.

The NFF made the announcement at the official signing ceremony which took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Coca-Cola Nigeria trains Internally Displaced Women to start small scale businesses

Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited said it has provided 50 Internally Displaced (IDP) women with quality personal development and small business appreciation training as part of its 5by20 Women Economic Empowerment Initiative.

At a two-day programme tagged ‘IDP Women Value Chain Integration Programme’ held at Sesor Empowerment Foundation training complex in Igbo-Efon, Lekki, Lagos, on the 18th and 19th December 2017, the women were provided with adequate training that will enable them to start their respective small-scale businesses.

Schweppes Novida unveiled in Nigeria

Schweppes Novida Pineapple, a product of the Coca-Cola Company was recently launched in Lagos on 15th December 2017 amid fanfare.

The brand threw an extravagant, classy black carpet party headlined by music crooner DBanj, which also had performances from Ayo Drums and very lively, classic tunes from Godwin the violinist.

The new variant of Schweppes is a fruity flavoured Non-alcoholic malt beverage. According to the brand handlers, Novida means New Life in Portuguese.

Coca-Cola Nigeria to empower 15,000 youths in 2018

Coca-Cola Nigeria has said it will empower 15,000 youths in 2018 through its youth empowerment and personal development initiatives.

The Director, Legal, Public Affairs and Communications, Nigerian Bottling Company, Sade Morgan, made this known while speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Monday.

She said the vision of Coca-Cola was to impart over 100,000 youths with entrepreneurship and employability skills.

Coca-Cola Nigeria unveils 50cl Eva Twist Bottle

Coca-Cola Nigeria has announced the launch of a 50cl Eva Twist Bottled Water as it seeks to bolster its presence in the market.

The soft drinks maker noted that the new bottle uses 18% less plastic which is in furtherance of its commitment to secure a friendly environment as well as serving consumers better. All up till now, Coca-Cola Eva bottled water only came in 75cl plastic bottles.

NBC launches ‘Youth Empowered’, a skills acquisition scheme for Youths

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (“NBC”), makers of Coca Cola soft drinks, has unveiled a fresh programme aimed at harnessing the latent potential of youths.

Tagged “Youths Empowered,” the NBC said the programme was a life-changing opportunity for Nigerian youths in the age bracket of 18 to 30, to nurture, grow and showcase their vital life, business skills through training, mentorship and access to an array of contents that would help them stand out in their chosen fields of endeavour.
