Coca-Cola Nigeria unveils 50cl Eva Twist Bottle

Coca-Cola Nigeria has announced the launch of a 50cl Eva Twist Bottled Water as it seeks to bolster its presence in the market.

The soft drinks maker noted that the new bottle uses 18% less plastic which is in furtherance of its commitment to secure a friendly environment as well as serving consumers better. All up till now, Coca-Cola Eva bottled water only came in 75cl plastic bottles.

NBC launches ‘Youth Empowered’, a skills acquisition scheme for Youths

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (“NBC”), makers of Coca Cola soft drinks, has unveiled a fresh programme aimed at harnessing the latent potential of youths.

Tagged “Youths Empowered,” the NBC said the programme was a life-changing opportunity for Nigerian youths in the age bracket of 18 to 30, to nurture, grow and showcase their vital life, business skills through training, mentorship and access to an array of contents that would help them stand out in their chosen fields of endeavour.

Coca-Cola Nigeria to spend $600 million on new products by 2020

Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited said it plans to invest $600 million by 2020 to boost sales, as part of the parent company’s global strategy to offer more consumer likeable products that goes beyond its carbonated soft drinks.

The Nigerian subsidiary of the Atlanta-based soft drinks maker said it wants to expand its product offerings to include flavoured and condensed milk, ice tea and bottled water to meet demand, said Peter Njonjo, the President of Coca-Cola West Africa, in an interview with Bloomberg Business in Lagos.

FBRA urges sectoral partnership to advance industrial waste recycling

The Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA) has called on stakeholders in different industries to help set up sector specific alliances to assist with the recovery and recycling of waste items in their respective packaging streams.

According to FBRA, it will ensure the success of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policy of the Federal Government.

Coca-Cola unveils new Fanta ‘Play It Better’ campaign

Soft drinks giant, Coca-Cola Nigeria Plc on Tuesday launched its new Fanta “Play It Better” communication campaign in Lagos.

The campaign, which is scheduled to run for 11 months on different media platforms including; television, radio, out of home, digital and print, will feature different advertisement with five major Nigerian languages- English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and Pidgin.

Speaking at the campaign unveiling on Tuesday, February 16th at The Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Patricia Jemibewon, Marketing Director, Coca-Cola Nigeria said, the Fanta “Play It Better” campaign will connect with its consumers via its various digital and social media platforms and experiential sampling activation.
