Cadbury Nigeria’s Q1 revenue rise 6%

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, makers of Bournvita, said revenue for the first quarter (Q1 2016) rose 6% to N7.1bn, from N6.7bn a year earlier.

Cadbury inaugurates new N10bn factory

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, makers of Bournvita among other beverage products, on Friday, 16 October 2015, commissioned a new manufacturing plant at its Agidingbi, Ikeja site in Lagos.

The new ultra-modern production plant was commissioned by the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The new factory would enable the company raise its capacity by nearly 37 percent to meet rising demand for its food-drink and Bournvita.

Cadbury set to unveil new plant to boost production

Cadbury Nigeria, makers of Bournvita is set to commission a new manufacturing plant at its Agidingbi, Lagos site on Friday, Oct 16th, as part of its effort to increase production capacity and meet the increasing demands for its chocolate drink, Bournvita.

The new plant will be commissioned by the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. Also expected at the commissioning is the Executive Vice President Integrated Supply Chain, Mondelez International, Daniel Myers and other top government officials.

Troubled times at Cadbury as profits dip on economic headwinds

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, makers of Bournvita and other fast moving consumables saw a decline in its profit by 75 percent for the year ended December 2014.

The company’s income statement shows a drop in net income by 75 percent to N1.51bn from N6.02bn the same period of the prior year (FY 2013). Sales also slipped by 15 percent to N30.51bn.

Earnings per share (EPS) declined by 61 percent to 75k in 2014 fiscal period versus 192k in fiscal 2013 year end.
