‘Lagos Cocktail Week’ is here again

The Lagos Cocktail Festival is here; first introduced in 2014 by cocktail enthusiast, Lara Rawa, CEO of Eventi Cocktails, was created to showcase the best of Lagos cocktail culture.

It is similar to Cocktail Weeks that hold in major cities around the world. The event which lasts for a week is intended to provide individuals businesses, corporations and global brands a platform to interact, connect and share brand value.

There are planned activities such as exhibitions, Master-classes, tastings, among other side attractions. The activities can best be described as a gathering of cocktail enthusiasts as beverage brands and lovers of great cocktail get to indulge their taste buds at designated hubs.

Speaking about this year’s festival, Rawa, the founder of the festival, said “This year, the event has been renamed ‘Lagos Cocktail Week’ and will be different in various ways; for one, we are switching up some of the competitions and encouraging more of our guests to try their hands on making cocktails at some of the different hubs.” We are also signing up and partnering bars which will offer cocktails at a discount to LCW wristband wearers. Anyone interested in taking advantage of promotions and offers happening during the week will need to purchase wristbands from the official hub, The Milano Bar, at the Intercontinental Hotel.

A Master-Class will run for two days (9th & 13th of November 2015) at the official hub. The intended targets are consumers who are interested in developing their soft skills.

There will also be a taste session at designated hubs to showcase both global brands and indigenous Nigerian brands. The closing ceremony will take place on the evening of November 14, 2015 at the Intercontinental Hotel Terrace.

The Lagos Cocktail Week is supported by The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations; Intercontinental Hotel Lagos; Patron Tequila; Luxeria Spirits; Cool FM and Bella Naija.
