A soft drink factory with an estimated cost of €6 million was commissioned in Warri, Delta State by the Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa on July 9th, 2015.

The factory with the trade name “Trebet A1” is owned by an Edo State born investor, Leemon Ikpea of Leemon Group of Companies. Also commissioned by the Governor was Oasis International Supermarket and Stores limited.

Speaking at the unveiling of the businesses, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Leemon Group, Leemon Ikpea said the soft drinks factory will be involved in the production of various premium juices, carbonated drinks and bottled water.

” It would interest you to know that the Trebet A1 factory expansion project is estimated to about six million Euros (€6million) committed to realizing an ultra-modern processing factory fitted with the state-of-the-art equipment for the production of various premium juices, carbonated drinks and water”, he said.

He noted that the investment in the Oasis Supermarket and Soft drinks factory was done with the intention to contribute meaningfully to economic development of the state through job creations.

According to him, the projects were initiated as part of his company’s contribution to boosting economic development and employment opportunities in the community.

He said that his company has been in the oil and engineering business for the past 30 years. He added that Delta state is the bedrock of his establishments.

Mr. Ikpea urged all other investors to invest in the state in order to support the state government in transforming the state into a world class investment hub.

In his remarks, the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa commended the Chairman of Leemon Group of Companies for investing in the state as well as keying into his administration’s five point agenda of SMART.

Okowa, who pledged to make the state investor friendly asked traditional rulers and youths in the state to protect human and capital investments of current and future investors.
